Updated for the 2022 filing season, the Form 5500 Workshop provides line-by-line instructions to help plan sponsors understand the filing obligations and satisfy them while minimizing the likelihood of unnecessary IRS or DOL correspondence. The program is constantly changing to help you meet the new challenges based on legal, regulatory, and administrative changes. It covers many Form 5500 and 8955-SSA questions, as well as changes to the eligibility requirements to file the Form 5500-SF, electronic filing requirements and options for the Form 5500-EZ, “red flag” answers to DOL compliance questions, and changes on the 2021 Form 5500. Do you need to train someone new? Do you need to brush up on the basics, or to fill in gaps in your knowledge? The Fundamentals of Qualified Plans Workshop may be just what you need. The five-part virtual workshop combines an introduction to 401(k) plans with a comprehensive study of defined contribution plan requirements and challenges of qualified plan administration. Speakers examine the unique administrative and testing rules essential to 401(k) plan compliance and use case studies and presentations to teach attendees how these rules apply to everyday situations. The Fundamentals of Qualified Plans -- Recorded Webinar is now available for purchase: Register here.

Cycle-Three Document Workshop – PPD and Corbel - Recorded Webinars

The Cycle-Three restatement process has begun. Each program provides a line-by-line review using the prototype-formatted pre-approved Defined Contribution Adoption Agreement, as well as a review of the basic plan document. The focus is primarily on the Adoption Agreement, giving background, and offering explanations as to its use, including suggested completion of check-box and blank line options. Save time and get an early start on the Cycle-Three restatement process. The recorded sessions of the live virtual Cycle-three Plan Document Workshops, presented last August, are now available for purchase.
